The following steps can help the technology department investigate poor WiFi performance when using an iPad.

Open the Self Service app.

You may be presented with the 'allow notifications' prompt.  If so, answer Allow then tap Continue.

Select the Airport Utility app in order to install it to your device.

Go to your Home screen and then open the Settings app.

Now scroll down and select Airport Utility.

Enable the Wi-Fi Scanner option, ensuring it is green as shown below.

Return to the Home screen, then open the Airport Utility app.  Upon opening this app, tap OK when asked if Airport Utility can find and connect to devices on your network.  Now tap Wi-Fi Scan.

Tap Scan and allow the app to scan your network for a few minutes.

Tap Stop after a few minutes in order to stop the test.  Then tap the share button as shown below.

Tap the Mail app selection.

Enter the appropriate email address, which is determined by your school, then send the message.
