Removing Co-Teachers
print icon

As part of scheduling in Focus for the upcoming school year, it is necessary to review teacher data to ensure that any applicable educators have been removed as co-teachers from previous courses. Applicable educators would include, but may not be limited to, retirees, teachers who have resigned from the district, or instructors who have changed grade levels and/or buildings.  This information should be reviewed and edits should be made after Focus has completed its rollover on or around July 1st.

1. Compile a list of applicable educators for your building.

2. Examine scheduling by going to Scheduling>Setup>Courses & Sections

3.  Select the appropriate Subject, Course, and Section.

4. Click on the Co-Teachers tab.  An active teacher changing courses or buildings will be listed by name.  An inactive co-teacher will be identified by a red number rather than a name.

5. Click on the drop down and change the field to N/A.

6. Change the Permissions to None.

7. Click Save in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

8. Repeat as necessary.
