Genetec Mobile App Use

The Genetec Mobile app allows select users to view security camera footage, monitor doors, and receive alerts related to panic and duress button use.  Use the following steps to get started.

 

 

1. Use your device's app store to download the Genetec Mobile app.  Search for the term 'genetec mobile' to find the app in your respective app store's catalog.

 

 

2. Open the app and enter the server address gmobile.uscsd.k12.pa.us [1], then tap the Log on with Azure SSO button [2].

 

 

 

3. Enter your SSO account username and tap the Next button.

 

 

 

4. Enter your SSO account password and tap the Sign in button.

 

 

 

5. Enter your SSO account code (see our article on Using A Code Card or Using an App or Text Codes if you are not sure what a SSO account code refers to). Optionally, check the Don't ask again for 30 days box.  Tap the Verify button.

 

 

 

6. This is an important step in your ability to receive panic and duress button use notification!  Tap Allow in order to receive notifications.

 

 

 

7. Optionally, tap Yes in order to use the facial recognition if your device offers the facial recognition feature.  Facial recognition allows quick access to this app.

 

 

 

8.  Tap OK to complete the setup of facial recognition.
