What is Securly (Orientation)

Securly is a service that provides content tracking and filtering for all district accounts, students and staff alike. It is installed on every student Chromebook, and will be most visible while browsing the web.

Securly can and does track everything that you see on the Chromebook, and will block many non-school-related websites (such as social media) and inappropriate content. It's goal is twofold: make the internet a safer place, and ensure that you use your school-provided Chromebook for school-related activities.

If a school-related website or Youtube video is blocked by Securly, you can email the tech department to ask to have it added to the allow list.
