If a teacher retires in the middle of a year or at the end of the year, they need to remain in their building until March 15th of the following year because of the Educator Effectiveness Annual Report (reporting the previous years data) is typically submitted at the end of February

 

 

 

1.   On or after March 15th of the next year (assuming Educator Effectiveness Annual Report has been submitted), Assign the teacher to Archived Employees building 

 

 

 

2.  Next, remove the teacher from their assigned school building.  

 

Example: Mr. Teacher left or retired on June 15, 2024, Mr. Teacher can now be removed from Fort Couch Middle School on or after March 15, 2025).  The Educator Effectiveness Annual Report is always reporting the previous school year.  

 

 

3.  After you remove their school building, go into User Management, Turn off User is Authorized and   

 

 

3.  Retain all their roles and  . This will ensure they appear in the Archive School for record retention.
