Unsubscribing from a Google Calendar

If you no longer want to subscribe to a Google Calendar, follow the steps below.

Go to https://calendar.google.com on your computer.

On the left side panel, find the calendar(s) you want to unsubscribe from under “Other calendars” or “My calendars”

Select the “X” next to the calendar you want to unsubscribe from and follow the prompts.

This will unsubscribe you from the selected Google Calendar.

Turn off Google Calendar Notifications

If you receive unwanted emails when a new event is added to a Google Calendar, you can turn off notifications for that calendar.

From a desktop computer:

Go to https://calendar.google.com on your computer.

On the left side, find the list of calendars under “My calendars” (ones you own) or “Other calendars” (shared with you).

Hover over the calendar name.

Click the three dots (⋮) next to it.

Select “Settings and sharing”

Scroll down to “Event Notifications” and, if there are any notifications, click the “X” next to each to delete them.

Scroll down to “Other notifications” and select “None” for all notifications in that category.

These steps will turn off notifications for the designated Google Calendar.
